About Neume
Counseling for Leaders

Over twenty years ago, I began to notice a pattern. Highly competent, talented individuals with successful public or corporate lives often lost power and influence when they experienced failure in their personal lives. These leaders needed more than professional training; they also needed to understand how to use their personal relationships and daily habits as assets in their public roles. I wanted to help these brilliant, qualified individuals truly thrive.

At that time my life was pretty happy. I'll admit I had a rose-colored view of what it took to succeed. But then my own life hit the fan, and I was the one who needed help.

One of my first experiences with counseling left me wondering if a good counselor could be found. Then a friend urged me repeatedly to try a new kind of counseling. I said, "I've tried several times. I don't believe your counselor can help." My friend offered to reimburse me if I didn't get something out of the first session.

Are you curious?

I was amazed. I went home and told my husband, "Somebody finally gets me. And I didn't have to go to nine sessions and tell my life story before I got something of value out of it."

My husband eventually came with me. He said, "Wow, I feel like I have a tool to use in my life and my relationships."

My counselor also happened to be a mentor for the National Christian Counselors Association. She is the reason that Neume Counseling exists today.

I can't wait to meet you and introduce you to the tool that changed my life.

Blessings on your journey, Debbie

What You'll Experience

Neume Counseling offers the Arno Profile System of Temperament as our primary tool. In the same way that your skeletal structure forms the core of who you are, the Arno Profile System is like a mirror that sketches how your life is shaped from the inside out. It helps clarify how you express yourself to the world and what you want from it. These two factors influence how people perceive you, who you choose to include in your world, and what you seek from your relationships.

Debbie also offers Codependency Recovery classes and Military and First Responder Mental Health Coaching. She will introduce you to tools such as family systems, genograms, drama triangles, and healthy boundaries.

Because mental health and physical health are dynamically connected, Debbie supports a whole‑health mindset and encourages clients to pursue integrated healing in mind, body, and soul.

Neume Counseling services are offered both online and in-person.
